Trevor Lansing

Trevor Lansing, the devil incarnated showed up on
Genreal Hospital in 2003 as being the father of Ric Lansing.

Working as an attorney in New York City, Trevor
hired Adela Corinthos as a secretary, They soon had
an affair after Adela's husband, Mike walked out on
her.

Adela became pregnant with Trevor's child, but Trevor
and Adela's first child, Sonny Corinthos never got
along. One day Adela fell down the stairs at their home,
which Trevor blamed Sonny for pushing her to try and
get Adela to have a miscarriage.

Soon Trevor's animosity towards Sonny grew to the
point that he gave Adela an ultimatum, either she
give Sonny up to an adoption agency, or she would lose
him and the cushy lifestyle he could provide her with.

Adela chose Sonny which started the lifelong fued
between Sonny and his half-brother Ric. Adela also
gave Trevor custody of young Richard for Trevor to
raise.

Trevor was a cold hearted man who expected his women
to do whatever he wanted, when he wanted, and neither was
he much of a father to Richard whom he later told
was a disappointment to him. Trevor left most of the
raising of Ric up to nanny's, never being much of
a father figure in his life.

Trevor was shrewd and an astute businessman, and became
an excellent attorney, so much that he is on retainer for
New York City's biggest crime boss, Anthony Zacchara.

After Adela left the scene, Trevor became involved with
a young wanna be fashion editor, Kate Howard. Kate was
fresh out of college and wanting to learn the ways
of the big city and how to worm her way into high
society. Kate had grown up in Bensonhurst N.Y. as
a plain jane girl who also had Sonny as a boyfriend
when they were teenagers.

Wanting to forget her past, Connie Falconari changed
her name to Kate Howard.

Trevor took Kate under his wings becoming her mentor
and love partner for 5 years. Trevor's influence in
society gave Kate the start she needed to become
editor in chief of fashion magazine Couture.

After Trevor's initial visit on General Hospital where
he was instrumental in Sonny and Ric finding out they
were half brothers, Trevor wasn't seen again until
August of 2007 where he showed up on Kate Howard's
doorstep wanting to help her out with a traffic violation.

Trevor soon started pushing his way around Port Charles,
getting Ric, who was acting D.A., to drop the charges.

When Sonny found out Trevor was in town, he did a
double flip and had Trevor brought to Sonny's coffee
house office where he and Trevor had it out both
threatening each other.

Problem got much bigger when Sonny, who is falling
in love with Kate, finds out that Trevor and her slept
together and that Trevor wants Kate back in his life
again.

But, meanwhile, it also seems that Trevor only
told Kate he came back to help her, real reason is
that Zacchara is interested in taking over Sonny's
territory in Port Charles for mob business. Trevor
is in Port Charles as a front man to check out what
needs to be done to eliminate Corinthos and his
entire family.

When Trevor and Sonny have words again, Kate overhears
Trevor calling Sonny a son of a bitch and threatening
to eliminate him, Kate is floored at how Trevor could
act this way.

Trevor, never mincing words, tells Kate, either you
choose Sonny or you choose me.

Trevor Lansing would be a good twin brother for
Victor Neuman on "The Young and The Restless", as
they are both cold hearted bastards concerned only
with furthering their own agenda and to hell with
anyone who gets in their way.


On General Hospital, Trevor Lansing is played by
Stephen Macht. Stephen has been cast in many roles
on TV and film during his career. In 1996 for 6 months
he played the role of Dr. Elliot Durban, a psychiatrist on
"One Life to Live".
