Ric Lansing
Richard (Ric) Lansing is the son of Trevor Lansing and
Adela Corinthos, the half-brother of Sonny Corinthos.
Adela was working for Trevor as a secretary when the
two had an affair which resulted in Adela becoming
pregnant with Ric. Trevor loved Adela, but had no use
for her son Sonny. To keep Trevor's wife from finding
out about the pregnancy, Trevor sent Adela and Sonny to
one of his vacation homes. Adela accidentally fell down
the stairs in that home which Trevor thereafter blamed
Sonny for pushing her down the stairs trying to cause
a miscarriage. Trevor told Ric that Sonny had pushed her
down the stairs because he was jealous of his mother
having another baby, which was not true.
After Ric was born Trevor forced Adela to choose between
Sonny and him, she chose Sonny, leaving Richard to be
raised by Trevor, a task which he didn't want and did a
poor job of being a father to Richard shuffling him from
home to home and nanny to nanny.
Ric forever after blamed Sonny for not having his mother
in his life to raise him.
When Ric came to Port Charles, he informed Sonny that they
were half brothers, a relationship which neither of them
really wanted to claim, but were forced to. Ric and Sonny
tried half heartedly various times over the years to
be some sort of brothers to each other, but it never
has worked out.
Sonny's right hand man, Jason Morgan became Sonny's
confidante and best friend which further caused a rift
of jealousy in Ric.
When Carly was kidnapped by Lorenzo Alcazar, Ric became
Sonny's lawyer but he was really trying to bring Sonny
and Jason down and take over his business which Sonny
soon saw and only furthered the hatred among the two.
During the Black and White Ball at Wyndemere, Ric
was impaled with a sword. Ric was in desperate need
of a blood transfusion and the only one there that
had his blood type was Sonny.
Trevor begged Sonny to forget the past and give the
transfusion, but Carly tried her best to talk Sonny out
of it. Kate Howard, Sonny's girlfriend at the time finally
convinced Sonny that it was the right thing to do
and Sonny agreed to give his blood to save little brother.

Ric Lansing's Love Affairs
When Ric came to Port Charles he became attracted to
Faith Roscoe which resulted in a brief affair.
Ric then got involved with a pretty nurse,
Elizabeth Webber
which grew and they became married, but later divorced.
When they got married again, Elizabeth became pregnant with
Ric's baby, but was pushed down the stairs by Faith,
thus suffering a miscarriage.
Ric assumed that Sonny was the one who pushed Elizabeth
down the stairs, so to get revenge he kidnapped Sonny's
future wife Carly Benson while she was pregnant
with Morgan.
When Elizabeth found Carly, she divorced Ric because of
all his lies and deceit.
When Ric found out that Alexis Davis had given birth
to Sonny's child Kristina, Ric began to scheme that if he
could get close to Alexis, that may bea way for him to
get revenge on Sonny. When Kristina became sick with
cancer, Ric and Alexis realized they had feelings for each
other and they were married.
Kristina along with Michael and Morgan were kidnapped by
Faith Roscoe. Reese Marshal, a federal agent became involved
in the case during which time Reese and Sonny became
lovers. Seeing an opportunity to get more revenge on
Sonny, Ric slept with Reese one night when they were
both drunk. Then later announced it to Port Charles
when he became drunk again at a Charity Ball held at
Wyndemere Castle.
Alexis was pregnant with Ric's child, but the couple
separated after Alexis found out about him and Reese.
During a train wreck, Alexis gave birth to their child
Molly which Ric was there to help and the couple decided
to get back together.
When Alexis learned that she had lung cancer, Ric took
over her position and became acting District Attorney
in Port Charles.
Ric helped Alexis find her lost daughter who turned out to
be Sam McCall. Alexis began doting on Sam and Ric became
jealous of Alexis spending more time with Sam and Kristina
and with him and Molly and there was a big blow up
between Ric, Alexis and Sam.
That night Alexis stormed out of the house only to
come back later to find a drunken Ric and Sam having making love
in her living room. That finally broke their relationship
and the two got divorced with Alexis retaining custody of
Molly.
For a brief time when Trevor came back to Port Charles
and a mob war was brewing with the Zacchara family, Alexis
agreed to give Ric custody of Molly, but it only lasted
for about a month before Ric gave Molly back to her mother.
Ric made a few attempts after their divorce to get back
with Elizabeth but she had grown tired of all his lies
and wasn't interested. Ric even went so far as to
try and frame her husband Lucky for having drugs at work.
To get back at her, he brought her on the witness stand
during Jason's murder trial and forced her to publicly
proclaim she had an affair with Jason while being married
to Lucky Spencer.
Next Ric started to seek a relationship with Skye Quartermaine
Alcazar who took an interest in Ric, but she decided
the two would never make a solid go of it and then
left Port Charles.
