Night Shift Episode Eight: Employee of the Month


Dr. Ford scrambles to convince Mr. Lovell of MedCam
that General Hospital is not in trouble, although he
admits they have hit a few rocky spots lately.

Unfortunately Dr. Lee has had a behavior problem in
keeping her clothes on which complicates Dr. Ford's
defense.

Maxie doesn't get good news about her heart, which causes
her more anxiety especially when she remembers Dr Leo who
performed her past unsuccessful heart surgery is at the
knife again. Dr. Leo refuses to do the surgery, until Mac
and Regina change his mind.

Jolene finds Dr. Archer asleep and wakes him up to
assist with Maxie's surgery, but because of his drowsiness,
he almost suffocates Maxie.

Toussaint offers Spinelli some fatherly advice on
asking Jolene out for a date.

Robin names Stacey's baby Anna after her mother.
Patrick and Robin get into another squirmish about
Robin's obsession with baby's and Stacey's case.

Patrick just about loses it when Robin tells him she
wants to adopt Anna. Of course, Leyla comes to comfort
Patrick, and get her nightly dose of flirting with him.

Lainey convinces Stan to impersonate Lainey's father's
former doctor. Patrick finds that her father needs an
operation, Dr. Ford seems to think the operation cannot
be performed at General.

An admiring Epiphany presents Toussaint with a plaque for
Employee of the Month.

Jolene blows Spinelli off and breaks his heart.

Jolene and Mr. Lovell seem to have a pact to break
General Hospital so it can be sold to MedCam. Jolene
is found out to be the one causing all the accidents
around the hospital. Seems that Jolene is a bit bitter
because of the way her father was treated when he
was a patient and died.
