Miss Sneed showed up on the General Hospital staff
as a member of the financial board. Miss Sneed made
her first appearance at General Hospital on April 10,
2006, then has appeared 4 more times since.
Not very much is known about Iris Sneed's past life
nor her present life, other than she is known as
Miss Sneed and she has an occasional appearance
in General Hospital.
Most often her appearance has been to be in conflict
with someone over inappropriate use of hospital money.
After Sam was shot by Manny Ruiz, Miss Sneed asked
Jason Morgan if he wanted Sam to remain alive or let her go
if it came to that point.
When Logan Hayes was shot defending Sonny and Jason
in a shootout with Alcazar's men, Miss Sneed found out
Logan had no insurance. She then began preparations to
have Logan transferred to another hospital. But when
Sonny found out about it, Sonny chewed Miss Sneed out
up one side and down the other, then made Miss Sneed
apologize to Sonny and Logan.
In her most recent appearance, Miss Sneed found Robin
Scorpio
and Patrick Drake kissing in the locker room, then threatened
to take them before Dr. Ford and the General Hospital
review board. Noah found out and sweet talked Miss
Sneed into relenting. In fact it was the first time
we've seen Miss Sneed smile after Noah made his point
with her.
The original Iris Sneed was played by Mary Stein
on General Hospital,
following her was Wendy Braun who also plays Miss Sneed on
General Hospital Night Shift.
