Lesley Lu "LuLu" Spencer

General Hospital's Lesley Lu "LuLu" Spencer was born to
Luke and Laura Spencer, in Port Charles, their second child as a couple.

Lesley Lu was named "Lesley" after her grandmother Dr. Lesley
Webber and "Lu" after an alias her mother had assumed before her birth.
but everyone has called her LuLu.

LuLu's father, Luke kept the family in constant danger with his
business association with Sonny Corinthos. Laura was forced to
flee for safety soon after LuLu's birth. When they returned, more
bullets came their way with Laura and daughter narrowly escaping
being killed.

Within months, LuLu was diagnosed with aplastic anemia. No
bone marrow match could be found except in Nikolas, who was
a son from Laura and lover Stefan Cassadine. Laura had kept
Nikolas a secret from Luke until this time.

When Luke and Laura divorced, LuLu was raised mostly by
her mother.

Laura entered into a catatonic state at which time LuLu was
raised by her grandmother, Lesley. Lulu become a rebellious
teenager who Lesley couldn't handle. Luke was not a stable
figure in LuLu's life, but Lesley handed her over to Luke
saying he needed to be more involved in her life.

At the time Luke was married to Tracy Quartermaine.
LuLu and Luke were both against having a father daughter
relationship, but Luke moved her in to the Quartermaine
mansion anyway. LuLu overheard Luke telling Tracy that
he never wanted her as a baby, which only made LuLu
more rebellious. Her favorite trick was to steal Edward
Quartermaine's Bentley and go riding.

LuLu has a hard time getting over her resentment that her
father was never around to help raise her, but at the same time
is desperate for his attention.



Lulu began to have feelings for Dillon Quartermaine who
married Georgie Jones. LuLu with Diego Sanchez schemed
to break Dillon and Georgie apart. LuLu lied to Dillon about
her seeing Georgie and Diego having making love. It worked with the result
being Dillon and LuLu made love in the Quartermaine boathouse.

When the guilt became too great for her, she confessed to
Dillon about lying to him, Dillon broke off the relationship,
but soon LuLu found herself to be pregnant due to a defective
condom made by ELQ, the Quartermaine's company.

LuLu struggled back and forth whether to have the child or
not with advice coming from all corners. Her father Luke
finally showed her what a real father was and stood by her
side as LuLu opted for an abortion.

LuLu would often go to her mother's room at Shadybrook
Sanitarium talking to her about her troubles, but Laura could
never hear or respond. When Laura was brought back with
an experimental drug, LuLu continued to hide her abortion
from her, fearing Laura would not accept her decision.

LuLu started Port Charles University, mainly for something to do
and ran in to Professor Peter Marquez who has sparked her eye and
challenged her to go on living.

When LuLu finally did learn that Laura's condition was only
temporary, she told her about the abortion, Laura reacted
only with love and positive support.

In LuLu's next adventure she runs into Damian Spinelli,
a student at PCU. Spinelli did some computer work for
Alcazar which helped frame Sam McCall. Lorenzo finds
LuLu is involved and tries to eliminate her, but Skye strikes
a deal with Lorenzo to save LuLu's life.

Spinelli takes off to places unknown after a shootout
between Jason & Sam and Alcazar's men.
LuLu makes a deal with Sonny and Jason, she will help
them find Spinelli if they will help her prove that
her mother didn't kill Rick Webber.
