Lucky Spencer

The son of Luke and Laura Spence, Lucas Lorenzo
"Lucky" Spencer was born during Luke and Laura's run
from Port Charles in 1982 in Texas. Luke and Laura
were on the run from Frank Smith who was Luke's former
mob boss who wanted them killed.

When Smith finally came close to catching up with
them, they sent Lucky back to Port Charles to live
with his Aunt Ruby at Kelly's restaurant.

Smith found Lucky in Port Charles and took him
but Lucky befriended Sly Eckert a Luke Spencer
look a like who let Luke and Laura know where Smith
was hiding him.

Luke and Laura took Lucky and raised him for the rest
of his life in Port Charles along with his new born
sister LuLu Spencer.

Lucky was devastated when he found out that Laura
had an affair with Savros Cassadine and had a son
to him, Nikolas Cassadine. It was a lot of years before
Lucky could accept Nikolas as his half brother.

During one of their fights, Nikolas told Lucky that
Luke had raped Laura before they were married. When
Luke told him the story, Lucky got enraged and moved
out of the house into a room above a bike shop owned
by Jason Morgan where he helped Jason repair bikes in
exchange for rent money.



Lucky's Love Life

When Lucky found Elizabeth Webber one night in the park,
she had been raped by an unknown man. Lucky felt he needed
to protect Elizabeth and their relationship began to grow
as together they looked for Elizabeth's rapist.

When Lucky found out about Luke raping Laura, Elizabeth
was there to help Lucky get through it. Soon the couple
found themselves falling in love with each other.

During this time, Lucky, Elizabeth, Nikolas Cassadine
and Emily Quartermaine became the best of friends. They
helped each other through various problems and became
to them, the Four Muskateers. They continued their deep
friendship until December of 2007 when Emily was strangled
during the Black and White Ball at Wyndemere Castle.

Elizabeth had planned on moving to Manhattan and Lucky
decided to move there with her. However the night before
they were to go, a fire broke out in Jason's Bike Shop.
A dead body was found in Lucky's apartment above the shop
which everyone assumed was Lucky.

What really happened was that the fire was intentionally
set by one of Helena Cassadine's henchmen. Cesar Faison
took Lucky and hid him on Helena's orders.

When Cesar died almost a year later, he let Luke know
that Lucky was still alive. Luke and Laura went on the
hunt and finally found Lucky alive and brought him back
to Port Charles.

Back in town, Lucky joined the Port Charles police force
but not with Luke's blessings. As he and Elizabeth
found each other again, they decided their love was
strong enough and re-married moving into Luke and Laura's
old house.


When Manny Ruiz came to town, he threatened everyone
connected with Sonny Corinthos, the mob boss of Port Charles.
Manny had a thing for Elizabeth, capturing her and holding
her hostage on several occasions. One night Lucky found
Manny taking Elizabeth from the hospital and went after
Manny, but Manny flipped him severely injuring his back.

Jason Morgan, Sonny's right hand man came to the rescue and
threw Manny off the General Hospital roof. While Lucky
was grateful, he also hated Jason because of his
ties to the mob and because Jason and Elizabeth had been
lovers before and they still had deep feelings for each
other.

Before that Lucky became partners on the police force
with Jesse Beaudry. Jesse had become lovers with
Maxie Jones. One night at the circus, Manny shot Jesse
in front of Lucky and Maxie killing him. Both Maxie
and Lucky leaned on each other for support trying to
get over the death of Jesse.

Lucky tried to cope with his back pain and soon became
addicted to hydrocodone. Maxie had a crush on Lucky
early on as a teenager, but Lucky rejected her proposals
in a kind way. Now, working as a candy striper at
General Hospital, Maxie still grieving over Jesses,
saw her opportunity to try and get Lucky back into her
world and began stealing pills to feed Lucky's addiction.

Lucky was grateful and even started to see Maxie in
secret so he could score more pills. After Maxie and
Lucky slept together, Lucky lied to her that he would
leave Elizabeth for Maxie.

When Elizabeth found out about Lucky's addiction she
tried to get him to go to therapy, which Lucky continually
denied being addicted. When Maxie blurted out to her
that they were sleeping together Elizabeth left Lucky
and ran straight to Jason where they had a one night
stand of making love.

Elizabeth became pregnant and found out it was Jason's
child, but lied to Lucky telling him it was his child.
This was the motivation Lucky needed to clean up his
life and he agreed to counseling checking himself into
a rehabilitation center.

When Lucky got out he was clean, but Maxie came up with
a little surprise of her own, claiming that she was
pregnant with Lucky's child. Lucky agreed to be a part
of the child's life, but wanted to stay with Elizabeth.
Elizabeth found out that Maxie was lying and told Lucky
which ended his relationship with Maxie.

Jason knew about him being the father of Elizabeth's
child and every chance he could get was around
Elizabeth which drove Lucky insanely jealous. Elizabeth
continued lying about the true paternity of her child
and when the child was born named him Jakob Martin
after the initials of Jason Morgan. Still Lucky
believed he was the child's father.


When Jake was kidnapped by Maureen Harper it was Jason
and Amelia Joffe who found Jake and brought him back to
Elizabeth. Elizabeth was beside herself after the
kidnapping expecting Lucky to support her, but Lucky
didn't believing that somehow Elizabeth had tried to
get rid of Jake. Elizabeth found comfort in Jason
who promised to get Jake back for her.

Elizabeth thought Lucky should have been totally grateful
for Jason bringing her child back, but Lucky was
out of his mind with jealousy and arrested Jason for
jumping bail right there in Elizabeth and Lucky's
living room.


During Jason's murder trial for Lorenzo Alcazar,
Elizabeth was on the stand and forced to come clean about
her and Jason sleeping together. Lucky was devastated
to hear the news.

The constant bickering between Lucky and Elizabeth
drove them to the brink of divorce. One night when Lucky
set up a romantic evening for Elizabeth she refused
him making love, which sent Lucky straight to Sam McCall,
Jason's former girlfriend. Sam was out for revenge and
saw a great opportunity in getting that by sleeping
with Lucky.

Lucky went home and confessed to Elizabeth that he and
Sam had making love and that it was okay because Elizabeth had
had making love with Jason behind his back.

Finally the couple divorced with Elizabeth having
Jason's lawyer, Diane Miller and Lucky hiring Alexis Davis.

During the Black and White Ball at Wyndemere Castle
Sam started to tell Lucky about who really was the
father when Jason showed up and told Lucky the news
himself.

Lucky went back to Sam crying on her shoulder which
gave Sam even more leverage to get her hooks into Lucky.

When Emily died Elizabeth and Lucky did partner together
to try and help each other and Emily's lover
Nikolas Cassadine through the funeral.
