Leyla MirLovely, shapely and making lovey Leyla
Mir showed up at
General Hospital along with two other student
nurses, Jolene Crowell and Regina Thompson.
While the three student nurses didn't get much air
time on General Hospital, they do play a big role in
General Hospital's Night Shift.
Epiphany, head of the nurses told Leyla and her
partners that they would be getting a lot of hot
action soon after their arrival at General Hospital
by being sent on the night shift because the hospital
was understaffed.
Leyla is able to speak English and Farsi which got her
in trouble on the night shift. Leyla was put in charge
of getting a Stacey Sloan up to the operating room,
but just as she put Stacey on the elevator, a couple
came in that could not speak English.
Leyla made a decision to help the couple instead of
following Dr. Robin Scorpio's order to get Stacey to OR.
Stacey later died as Jason Morgan had to perform an
emergency C-section on Stacey when the hospital elevator
stuck.
Dr. Robin Scorpio chewed Leyla's butt out for not
staying with Stacey, but Dr. Patrick Drake came to
Leyla's rescue comforting her. Jolene then got all over
Leyla for not attending to Stacey.
Seems also that Patrick has taken a close interest in
Leyla as they are seen chatting quite frequently
in the hospital. Of course, Patrick's girlfriend,
Robin is quite jealous of this.
Leyla doesn't seem to mind that she flirts with Patrick,
and neither does Patrick. Leyla is either looking to
catch a good man with prestige or she is totally
unaware of what she's doing?
Of course from the time Leyla came to General Hospital,
she has flirted with Patrick and Robin has gotten
jealous every time she has seen them together.
One morning Robin even saw Leyla and Patrick sharing
an embrace which fueled the feud even further.
On the night shift, Dr. Archer tried to hit on Leyla,
but she wasn't interested.
When Mrs. Storch dies, Jolene begins to get suspicious
as she saw Leyla enter her room right before she died.
It was confirmed that Mrs. Storch's death wasn't natural,
so Leyla is a suspect.
Leyla Mir is played by Nazanin Boniadi on General Hospital.
