Johnny Zacchara

Son of the infamous mob boss from New York City, Johnny
Zacchara turns out to be one loose cannon. An accident waiting
to happen in Port Charles.

Trevor Lansing got a phone call that immediately alarms him,
his reply to the caller is, "Johnny's coming to Port Charles?
You need to find a way to control him or else he will ruin
everything."

Trevor is in town as a front man for Anthony Zacchara, who
is trying to take over the mob territory of Sonny Corinthos.
While Anthony dearly loves his son, he does little to control
the impetuous teenagers actions. Johnny has proven himself
to be somewhat less that crazy one more than one occasion.

Case in point, Johnny toying with his father's goons sent to
protect him, is standing on a ledge on General Hospital, telling
them "Life is a lot more interesting if you take risks." then
Johnny falls backwards over the edge of General Hospital.

Second case in point, in their first encounter he pulls a
gun on Jason Morgan who is holding a gun on him also.
Johnny finally drops the gun and dares Jason to kill him.

Apparently Johnny's mental instability stems from having watched
his mother get brutally murdered in a mob war. Johnny also
carries with him a long history of getting into trouble with the
law. Trevor has been paid handsomely by Anthony Zacchara to
take care of little Johnny's legal troubles, which Trevor has
done so successfully.

Johnny Zacchara's first appearance on General Hospital came
on September 18, 2007 when he was driving along Route 19
just outside of Port Charles.

LuLu Spencer who just got her heart broke by Logan Hayes,
happened to be hitchhiking and was picked up by Johnny.
When LuLu didn't show up that night, Spinelli hacked into
security cameras and found Johnny's car and it's whereabouts
which led Jason to find LuLu. LuLu insists she didn't know
Johnny was crazy until after he pulled the gun on Jason, but
still LuLu is fascinated with Johnny's "I don't give a damn
attitude."


On General Hospital, Johnny Zacchara is played by
Brandon Barash.

Brandon has appeared on primetime television in the
past, including shows such as "Navy NCIS," "24," "Gilmore Girls,"
and "The West Wing."
