Jason Morgan

Jason Morgan lover, fighter, the Golden Boy, fearless,
faithful and loyal, number one mob enforcer on General Hospital.

Jason was born to Dr. Alan Quartermaine and his mistress
Susan Moore. Jason was raised by his father and adoptive
mother Dr. Monica Quartermaine who really didn't want
Jason, but came to love him as her own son.

He was sent to boarding school for his education. Upon
arriving back home, he learned to put up with his older brother
AJ, who was an alcoholic. Jason was being groomed to be a doctor.

His first serious romance was with Karen Wexler, they
were king and queen of the Valentine's Day dance at
their high school. But Karen wanted Jagger Cates and
broke Jason's heart by leaving the dance with him.

Jason next love was Keesha Ward. On spring break, they went
to Paris, where they both lost their virginity to each other.

Jason was determined to save his big brother from
alcohol. Driving with AJ there was an accident which
left Jason with permanent brain damage and no memory
of his family or of Keesha.

Sonny Corinthos took a liking to Jason and hired him
to work in his mob business. Jason, unable to recognize
anything from his past, changed his last name to Morgan.

The only person who was able to get through to Jason was
his old high school classmate, Robin Scorpio. The friendship
soon turned into love for each other. But Jason had met
Carly Roberts and was sleeping with her.

Jason and Robin's romance came to a end when they
became victims of a hit man's attempt to murder Jason. Robin
tried to force Jason out of the mob, but Jason loved
the life he had chosen. After realizing that their differences
were irreconcilable, Robin and Jason broke things off.


When Sonny unexpectedly left, Jason took over the business.
About this time Carly also named him as the father of
her first child, Michael. Jason knew it wasn't true,
but when Carly told him the child was the product of
a one night stand with AJ, Jason agreed to cover things
up and admit he was the father.

AJ suspected he was the father, but left things go as
is. However the Quartermaines tried their best to get
Michael, ending up with Jason and Michael leaving
the Quartermaines for good.

When Carly left town after the birth, Jason raised Michael
as his own son for almost a year.

Robin told Jason that she didn't believe it was right for him
to keep the truth from AJ, but eventually agreed not to
interfere in his life. Jason arranged to have Michael
baptized and named his sister Emily Quartermaine
and Sonny's dad Mike as his godparents. Jason named
the baby after Sonny, which further drove the Quartermaines
bonkers.

Believing he was the father, Tony Jones soon kidnapped
Michael, also holding Robin captive when she found out
what he had done. Jason rescued them breaking Tony's
hand in the process, ruining his career as a surgeon.
Carly then shot Tony and was committed to a mental
hospital.

Jason, Robin and Michael moved into Brenda's cottage.
He then used his influence to get Carly out of the
mental institution to move in with Jason and Robin.
that didn't last long as Robin and Carly were
constantly at each other's throats. To get
back at Carly, Robin told AJ the truth about Michael
being his baby.

AJ wanted Michael but Jason took him out of the country.
Meanwhile Carly made a crazy plan to get full custody
rights from AJ. Jason came back and went along with her plan.
Carly married AJ sharing custody with Jason. Jason
grew very angry at AJ and fearing his anger would
upset Michael, gave up his rights to Carly and AJ.

Carly and Jason both realized they cared deeply for
each other but when she was ready to leave AJ
for Jason, Carly found him dancing with Elizabeth Webber.

Carly went to Jason's best friend, Sonny Corinthos, to
interrogate him about Jason's connection to Liz.
Carly and Sonny ended up having angry making love. Jason walked in on
them and was devastated.


Jason couldn't handle everything that was happening and
decided to leave town for awhile. He gave all his assets
for Michael to Sonny, and left town.

Jason visited from time to time, once to find Emily
after she had been kidnapped.

When Jason finally returned to Port Charles for good,
it was to help Sonny bring down mob boss Sorel. Elizabeth
hid him out during his first days back in town, and he
listened to her own problems (she didn't want to be a model
for Laura Spencer's company, but felt obligated to). He
realized he had very strong feelings for her,
and she had equally strong feelings for him. She had to choose
between Jason and Lucky. Jason then left town to
hide out from Sorel.



Jason returned about a year later, after Sorel was dead.
Jason started dating Elizabeth, but also had is eye on
Sonny's sister Courtney, who was married to AJ and working
as a stripper.

Elizabeth finally gave Jason up after being tired of
his mobster lifestyle. He then began dating Courtney,
but tried to keep it a secret from Sonny.

When Sonny finally accepted their relationship, the
two planned to get married. On their wedding day,
Carly was kidnapped which postponed the wedding.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, Courtney discovered she was
pregnant, but kept quiet about it.

When Jason, Sonny, and Ric went to South America to rescue Carly,
Courtney followed them. Alcazar found her and held her
hostage, demanding an exchange: Courtney for Carly. Jason and
Sonny reluctantly left Courtney behind and returned home with
Carly. Courtney then escaped and miscarried in the process.

Jason and Courtney finally became married during a
trip to France. When they returned back to Port Charles,
they were forced to take care of Sonny and Carly's kids
after Sonny shot Carly during the birth of her second
child.

When the dangerous life of Jason finally became too
much for her, they separated. Courtney grew closer
to Lorenzo Alcazar.


When Courtney purchased the pier property that Sonny and Jason
shipped through, she refused to allow mob dealings on her
property. She quickly realized it wouldn't work and sold the
property to Alcazar. Jason felt betrayed by her decision, but he
still entertained hopes of a reconciliation. However, all hope
for the couple was lost when Courtney chose to knock Jason out in
order to save Alcazar from certain death by Jason's hand.


After divorcing, Jason ran into Samantha McCall
who had come to town as a drifter. Sam had an
affair with Sonny who got her pregnant but she
didn't tell Sonny until Jason forced her. Jason
agreed to play the role of father to the baby to
protect Sonny. Sam and Jason were to be married, but
she balked at the last minute and ran off. Jason
went to find her and this time agreed to move in with Jason.

As the birth time grew closer, Jason and Sam grew closer
as a couple.

Sonny tried to convince Sam to induce labor early so
that the baby's stem cells could cure his other
daughter's leukemia. Alexis Davis, the mother of Kristina
also tried to get Sam to induce labor early. Sam
refused but then just as she was about to tell
Alexis she would agree to it, she collapsed and
was rushed to General Hospital where the baby girl
was stillborn.

When she awoke and learned of her baby's death, she was
inconsolable, but Jason stood by her side helping her grieve.
He also helped her understand that the baby's death was no
one's fault, and that the baby's life did mean something,
in that it saved Kristina's.

Jason and Sam kept growing closer but Jason knew that
if he cared too much for her eventually it would turn
out like all the other relationships.

Sam moved out of the penthouse but when Michael
was kidnapped by Faith Roscoe, her and Jason joined
forces to help rescue Michael. That ordeal brought
Jason and Sam back together.

Jason then helped find Sam's biological mother who
turned out to be Alexis Davis. When Alexis found out
that Sam was her daughter, she tried everything to
break Jason and Sam apart.

Arch enemy Manny Ruiz shot Sam in the back during a
reception, with the bullet meant for Jason. While not
knowing if Sam would live or not, Jason finally
realized despite his great love for Sam, his life
was only putting her in danger. He then agreed with
Alexis to stop seeing Sam. It breaks Sam's heart
when Jason tells her he can no longer see her.

When Alexis is diagnosed with lung cancer, she makes
Sam promise to never see Jason again. Sam promises
but soon starts meeting Jason. When Jason again tells
her they can't be a couple, Sam is distraught and
after a fight with Alexis, Sam has making love with step father
Ric Lansing. Jason sees it and is livid with rage.
He begs Sonny to let him kill Ric, but Sonny won't
allow him to kill his half brother.

The night Jason saw Sam and Ric getting it on, he
got drunk himself and when old flame Elizabeth showed
up at his apartment, they have making love. Due to a defective
condom made by ELQ, Elizabeth gets pregnant, but refuses
to name Jason as the real father.

Jason and Sam try to get past Sam sleeping with Ric
and Jason sleeping with Elizabeth.

Ric and Alcazar make a pact to take down Sonny,
Jason and Sam. Ric frames Sam and in their attempt to
prove Sam is being set up, Jason gets shot and is
saved by Elizabeth.

Elizabeth convinces Jason it's best for the baby if
everyone thinks Lucky Spencer is the baby's father, Jason
reluctantly agrees to keep it a secret.

Elizabeth gives birth to a son and names him after
Jason, Jacob Martin "Jake", (J in Jacob for Jason,
and M in Martin for Morgan). Jason gets to hold
Jake the night he is born but can't stay as he has plans
for doing a big job for Sonny.

Jason murders Lorenzo Alcazar and Ric Lansing, acting D.A.
plants evidence in Alcazar's home pointing to Jason as the hitman.
Jason gets arrested and is beside himself when he learns that
someone has kidnapped his child.

Several weeks after Jake is born, he is kidnapped
by Maureen Harper. Going on a tip from Amelia Joffee,
producer of Everyday Heroes, Jason finds Jake and returns
him to Elizabeth. Lucky is jealous and arrests Jason for jumping
bail terms and sends him to Pentonville Prison.

While in Pentonville, Jason has much time to figure out what to
do about Sam, knowing that she was a scam artist and that
Sam saw Maureen take Jake and did nothing about it.

After Jason got out of prison he saved Amelia from
being killed during an attack on his life as he was being
transferred to the PCPD. Amelia was so grateful, she used
her power to help sway public opinion for Jason in the
Alcazar murder trial.

Assisted by the brilliant defense of Diane Miller, Jason was
found not guilty despite the attempt by DA Ric Lansing to
send him to jail.

After the trial Jason decided that Sam and he were through,
that he couldn't put up with Sam's lying and deceit.

Elizabeth remains a constant standby and help for Jason
which only drives Lucky even more jealous. Elizabeth and
Lucky continually bicker over Jason until they decide that
they would be better off without each other.

Sam sees her opportunity for revenge and sleeps with Lucky
while he is still married to Elizabeth. Later Sam and Lucky
decide they are right for each other.

Sam wants in the worse way to tell Lucky about Jason being
the father of Jake. During the Black and White Ball at
Wyndemere Castle, Sam starts to blurt out the details, but
Jason comes telling her to shut up and then tells Lucky the
truth himself.

Elizabeth and Jason both love each other and want to be with
each other, but because of the constant danger in Jason's life,
they decide to only meet in secret.
