Alexis Davis


At an early age of 9 or 10, Alexis was forced to watch
Helena Cassadine slit the throat of her mother, Kristen
Bergman who was a Swedish opera singer. At the time,
Kristen was mistress to power hungry Mikkos Cassadine
who fathered Alexis.

Alexis Davis was christened Natasha Alexandra Cassadine, but
was raised as Alexis Davidovitch.

When Helena murdered Kristen, Alexis' younger sister
Kristina disappeared. Alexis blamed herself as she
had hid Kristina right before the murder, then when
she returned to get her, Kristina was gone. Kristina
surfaced years later claiming she had been adopted and
was wanting to know information about her family.


Alexis developed partial amnesia and grew up believing
she was Alexis Davidovitch, the daughter of Mikkos's dead
sister Sophia and her Russian husband Alexei Davidovitch.

Alexis was continually tormented by Helena and
Stavros Cassadine, (whom Alexis believed to be her cousin),
but had a close bond with her half-brother,
Stefan Cassadine. Stefan protected Alexis from the
rest of the family and paid for her to attend
boarding school in the United States when she was a teenager.

As a teenager, Alexis became pregnant, she wanted the
child but was forced to give the child up by Mikkos
who forged documents saying the child died in a
car accident. It was later revealed that her daughter
was Sam McCall, who Alexis had a terrible dislike for,
until she found out Sam was her real daughter. Sam
never liked Alexis either, but through time did come
to have at least a care and concern for her mother.


After school, Alexis worked as legal attorney for
Stefan who convinced Alexis to take another last name
as it would be more appropriate for her.

Alexis and Luke Spencer plotted with each other to
kill Helena but Katherine Bell who was Stefan's fiancee,
became the victim. Luke learned of Alexis' past and confronted
her that she was really the long lost Natasha
which helped Alexis begin to remember her past.



Alexis' Love Affairs


In 1996 Alexis met Ned Ashton who she began dating and
eventually planned to marry, but Alexis chickened out.

Later Alexis became involved with her long time friend
Jasper Jaxs Jacks whom she eventually married on July 05,
1999, but they were only married for 8 months.


In 1999 Sonny Corinthos asked Alexis to represent
Jason Morgan in the custody case of Michael Cornithos.

In her next case, Sonny got Alexis to represent him
so that the Quartermaines would not take custody of
his child that Carly Benson was carrying. Carly
fell down a set of stairs and lost the baby.

Later Sonny was busted during a crime meeting by
the police. Carly had hidden in secret taping the meeting
and the only way Alexis could get Sonny off the hook,
was by getting him to marry Carly so Carly would not
have to testify against Sonny.

When Sonny and Carly divorced, Alexis moved into
Sonny's penthouse where Sonny and Alexis grew closer
as friends.

When Sonny went looking for his sister, Courtney, Alexis
helped me. When they finally found Courtney, she was
married to AJ Quartermaine. Sonny thought that AJ wasn't
good for Courtney after AJ made an offer to trade
Courtney for custody of Michael. Sonny decided to have
AJ eliminated, but Alexis stepped in and made Sonny
reconsider.

Alexis and Sonny finally realized their true feelings
for each other and finally made love one time. Alexis
became pregnant, but Carly was hiding in a nearby room
and witnessed them do it. When they learned later of Carly's
presence, Alexis convinced Sonny to go back with Carly,
which he did.

Alexis told everyone that the baby was Ned's. However,
Alexis's sister Kristina learned that the baby was
Sonny's. She wanted a meeting with Sonny, but when a
bomb went off in the wharehouse were they were to meet,
Kristina was killed before she could tell Sonny the truth.

Ned continued to help Alexis hide the truth from Sonny
even altering documents about Kristina's (who was named
after Alexis' sister) parentage.

When Alexis was brought to trial over the murder of
Luis Alcazar, Ned took Kristina in his custody.

Luis had threatened Alexis and Kristina, when Alexis
went to his hotel room, he fell off a balcony to his
death during a fight with Alexis.

Alexis ended up faking Multiple Personality disorder,
which brought her a verdict of not guilty. She was granted
visitation with Kristina once a week. To get around this
Alexis dressed up as a male butler named Dobson
and got a job at the Quartermaines so she could be
near Kristina.

After it was over, Alexis got custody of Kristina back
and got Ned to remain out of Kristina's life forever.

When Kristina became deathly ill, Alexis was forced to
ask Sonny for help and to tell him that he was Kristina's
real father. Using stem cells from Sam McCall's
stillborn child, Kristina received the bone marrow
transplant and was saved.


When Ric Lansing learned of Kristina and Sonny, he
tried to become friends with Alexis. Ric is Sonny's
half brother and he thought that by getting close to
Alexis, he could use this in his personal vendetta
against Sonny.

Eventually Alexis gave in to Ric's advances and they
became married. Alexis became pregnant with Ric's child,
but the marriage had almost constant conflict. Ric
had a one night stand with Reese Marshall which almost
ended the marriage. During a train wreck Ric and Alexis
were reunited when their daughter Molly was born in
a wrecked train car.

Alexis became the DA of Port Charles when John Durant
died, much to the chagrin of Ric.

When Alexis went looking for the daughter she had
given up for adoption when she was a teenager, Ric helped
her but they were unsuccessful.

Sam was shot by Manny Ruiz and when her boyfriend
Jason Morgan thought that she was dying, he went and
told Alexis the truth that Sam was really her daughter.
Alexis went into mother mode, convincing Jason that
he was bad for Sam and tried to make Sam see how bad
Jason was for her.

Wanting to give their mother - daughter relationship
a chance, Sam broke up with Jason and moved in with
Alexis and Ric. Sam hated Ric and Ric hated Sam.
Ric worked Sam against Alexis and after a big fight one
night, Sam and Ric got drunk and slept together while
Alexis watched outside.

Alexis wouldn't let on that she knew about Sam and Ric,
but it killed her inside to think of what had happened.

Right before this Alexis was diagnosed with lung cancer.
Sam and Ric tried to help her through it, but every time
she saw them together she couldn't handle it. Because
of her illness Alexis had to step down as DA, and Ric
was given the job of acting DA which suited him fine
so he could further pursue his hatred of Sonny.

Finally Alexis could take it no more and confronted
Sam and Ric. She divorced Ric, but was more lenient
although sorely disappointed with Sam.


Ric filed for custody of Molly, and using Alexis's
sickness was granted custody. But when Ric's father
Trevor Lansing came back to Port Charles, Ric gave
custody back to Alexis because Trevor ran the
Zacchara mob organization in New York and threatened
to eliminate anyone in his way in Port Charles.

When Jerry Jacks showed up at Wyndemere, he helped
Alexis several times as she battled her cancer. Jerry
asked Alexis to represent him legally, which she
agreed to. Jerry tried several times to get Alexis to
go out with him and finally when Nikolas Cassadine held
the Black and White Ball at Wyndemere, Alexis agreed
to go as Jerry's date.

Alexis first appearance on General Hospital was in 1996.
